Tattoo artist Ash Higham is a talented, up and coming artist from Manchester, UK who specializes in black and grey realism. His interest in tattooing sparked when he booked an appointment for a sleeve with Richard ‘Bez’ Beston several years ago. Ash found himself “a bit gobsmacked at what could be done with a needle and ink” and was isntantly hooked by the atmosphere of a custom tattoo studio. Billy Foulkrod was introduced to tattooing at an early age. His father, Snake, was a biker and heavily tattooed. Naturally, Billy was fascinated with them. Snake’s tattoos inspired him to draw and pursue his interest in art. Both Billy and his childhood friend, Mike Hill, wanted to be tattoo artists from a young age. By the age of 13 Billy got his first tattoo and by the time he was out of high school he had a few.

Featured Tattoo Artist: James Hurley
From an early age, James Hurley loved art. He can’t remember a time when he didn’t know how to draw. By the time he was 21 he was offered an apprenticeship at a local shop in his hometown, Bryan, Ohio. “My apprenticeship was janky and very reckless to say the least,” he admitted, “I had to learn a lot of things via fellow artists, books, magazines, classes, and internet to make amends with a new beginning. I actually had to give tattooing a break for about 8-years.”
