In November our website turned 1, can you believe it? We had know idea just how fast it would grow and we’re stoked to grow it more next year! We’ve got some big announcements and new ideas to help promote *perfect* tattooing.
We’re Doing a Year End Magazine: Here’s Ways To Get In, FREE
That’s right, we’re going to make a premium quality booklet style magazine. And.. Ok, so the “free” part only applies to tattoo artists… never-the-less, here’s the ways you can get in:
1. Sharing The Work We Post Of Yours / Getting Your Followers to Like It
Every month we’re going to pick 3 of the most engaging
images from FACEBOOK. A number of factors including likes, comments and shares will be taken into consideration. We’ll also be selecting 3 of the tattoos with THE MOST LIKES that we share on INSTAGRAM.
72 tattoos will be considered the *perfect* social media tattoos of the year. Your name, location and contact information will be featured beneath your tattoo.
So starting in January, if we share your work, encourage your friends to go like it and share it too in order to increase your chances of making the magazine.
2. Getting Featured
We’re featuring 2 artists per month. These are artists we find who we find exceptional. Unlike other sites, it’s not about your following, it’s about your work. We love tattoos and are constantly scouring the web for new-to-us artists.
Our featured artists don’t pay to be featured. It’s just something we do to promote quality work. These artists enjoy:
- An interview on our blog with all contact information listed
- That blog is posted on all of our social media
- That blog is promoted for areas within 10 miles of where the artist work to people who are interested in tattoos
- A free Artist Central (coming soon) profile
Your Art Could Be On The Cover Of Our Magazine
We wanted to do something different. We know a lot of tattoo artists also create a variety of arts. We’re going to a hold a contest for the artwork on the cover of our magazine.

Artist Central, Coming February 2015
Artist Central is going to be our new area where Perfect Artists have a unique profile. Only artists we approve will be permitted to be a part of Artist Central. We don’t say this to sound snooty, but we want to create a place where people can come find *quality* tattoo work.
These profiles will feature 9 photos that can be updated, a list of your upcoming events, links to your social accounts, website and other contact information.
